** Please note that we follow the Mahopac Schools Schedule with regard to Holidays, and that if school is closed due to inclement weather, Our Classes & Lessons are cancelled for that day as well.

Summer Cabaret: (DR03) This program is designed for the student who loves to sing, act and dance year round! Each week there is a new theme to explore. Each child will have the opportunity to work on a solo or duet, complete with choreography and a short scene. The workshop is held Monday through Thursday 9:30 - 1:00 and Friday 10:00 - 1200. There will be a short performance at the end of each week's workshop hightlighting what the students have covered!
Books With A Beat (DR02) : Program for Schools Books With A Beat was designed to help encourage the new reader. It's a program that centers around children's literature. Rhythmic reading, movement, puppets, acting and instruments all help to bring the books to life along with original songs by Claudia Grispin. Children literally experience the story. This program was written for the Mahopac Library and has visited many schools in the tri-state area! What a great way to stimulate the young reader! Broadway Bound Jr (BB03) : Grades 2 - 5 This class is for the young actor. Children in this class are expected to read. Scripts are given and work outside of the class is very important. Children gain more stage experience and continue to build self-confidence. The class ends with a musical play performed on stage for an audience.

Broadway Bound Players (BB04) : Grades 6 - 9 Students work together to put on a full scale production. Lights, scenery and a live band add to the stage experience and bring the children to the next level. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. A professional acting coach, musical director and choreographer are all part of the experience. Audition Required Application Form
Broadway Seniors (BB05) : Grades 9 - 12 This class is designed for the older student with a little more stage experience. Each semester students will study and perform a full scale musical. A professional band, music director, acting coach and choreographer are part of the culminating performance.

Piano Lessons (MU01) Let your child experience the thrill of learning piano. $30.00 per half hour
Voice Lessons (MU02) Voice Training for your child. $30.00 per half hour
*NEW!* Guitar Lessons (MU03) Note reading, proper fingering, and guitar lingo are all covered in this introductory course. Your instructor is a college musician who has had tremendous experience in the world of rock and roll!
